The School of Business, Law, Social Sciences, International Relations and Computer Science – is located on the Rosenberg in the Swiss city of St. Gallen. It is one of the largest business schools in the German-speaking world and one of the leading business schools in Europe.

In today’s expert interview, we talk to Markus Steiner, Head of Construction and Technology at the University of St. Gallen, about the challenges associated with conventional first aid kits for companies and how the innovative flawa iQ solution has solved these problems.

Mr Steiner, to begin with, a brief look into the past. Please tell us what difficulties there were when using traditional first aid cases?

The old emergency cases actually caused us problems again and again in the past. They were often “looted” and therefore no longer complete. The effort to keep them complete, as required by law, was immense.

What made you consider the intelligent flawa iQ solution for your business?

Exactly the time and cost involved in managing the commercial cases mentioned above. This was simply too big and triggered us to look for a new solution. flawa iQ solves the aforementioned problem automatically and offers many other optimisations at the same time. The system convinced us because of its easy handling and cost control.

n which situations does flawa iQ relieve you in your daily work and which features bring you the greatest added value?

flawa iQ makes our work easier mainly through the automatic monitoring and control of the individual case stocks. In addition, we can now easily track which dressing material was used at which locations and when, and consequently trace which injuries occurred. The biggest added value for us, however, is the time and cost savings.

What are your experiences with the new flawa iQ first aid system? Have your expectations been met?

The experiences with flawa iQ have been positive throughout and my expectations have been met. We found it important to also carry out internal first aid training directly with the new system. Our company first aiders have also adapted optimally to the new system and know how to handle it well.

Do you feel “safer” as the person responsible for this area?

Yes, my feeling of safety has actually increased due to the cases always being fully equipped.

The use of injury modules is new. How do you assess this innovation?

The use of injury modules is simple, clear and a relief for our staff. We receive exclusively positive feedback for this novel approach.

Can you tell us how you found the process of implementing flawa iQ in your company?

The implementation of flawa iQ at the University of St. Gallen was straightforward and problem-free. The only challenge was to ensure connectivity at each location.

To whom would you also recommend the use of flawa iQ?

I have already introduced this system to several professional colleagues and business partners and made it palatable. In my opinion, flawa iQ is a good product that corresponds to the digital age and makes the management of sanitary security much easier and optimises it for extensive companies such as ours!

Mr Steiner, thank you very much for the praising words and the recommendation. We wish you continued success with flawa iQ.
